CreaCell hNav1.5 HEK293 cells are biosensors in "A Miniaturized Planar Patch-Clamp System for Transportable Use", by Boussaoud et al. in Biosensors and Bioelectronics. "This work describes for the first time a new compact and transportable planar patch-clamp system (named Toxint’patch or TIP, for Toxin detection with integrated patch-clamp) focusing on environmental matters and meant to be used in coastal laboratories, for direct on-site monitoring of the seawater and shellfish quality".

 

 NOVEMBER 2011, FRANCE (Guiana).

CreaCell is proud to be a sponsor of  the GIN Team in the Amazon RAID. From november 21st the Grenoble INovation team will set off on a new challenge among the French Guiana on the occasion of the Amazon RAID. In this raid, reserved exclusively for women, the most prized values are ecology (no motors, nothing but sweat !),  team spirit  and courage. On the menu - mountain bike, canoe, trekking, orientation course and archery.

CreaCell supports the 6th French Symposium of the Pain Research Network on January 22-23 in Marseille. The pain network aims to coordinate the activities of French researchers in the area of pain, to confront the latest advances in clinical research and basic research and to promote exchanges and collaborations between the different teams involved.

CreaCell has been approved by the French authorities for the Research Tax Credit. This Approval ("Agrément CIR") is valid for 2009, 2010 and 2011. The CIR is based on the claimed volume of R&D expenditures (which include subcontracted R&D). It is equal to 30 % of R&D expenditures up to EUR 100 million; beyond this threshold, the rate comes down to 5 %. For French companies entering the scheme for the first time, the applicable rate is 50 % the first year, and 40 % the second year.

The company now offers a new service for leads and targets development. This service is a set of basic functional assays based on mammalian cell lines.
