The 11th Meeting of the European Calcium Society will take place in Warsaw. This event provides a high quality international forum to meet the needs of calcium researchers, by disseminating latest news on calcium signals in normal and pathological cells. Because this meeting is one of the finest scientific programs in Europe, CreaCell is pleased to lend its support to the ECS on this occasion, and to know that its gift will have a positive impact on the work of future researchers." The Indian market has tremendous potential and CreaCell has already begun to market its products and services in this country. "To strengthen our links with our existing customers and to explore new opportunities, we will meet, in late April, several Indian CROs and pharmaceutical companies," says Pierre-Yves Perche, CEO of CreaCell. "When our cellular tools are integrated into the drug discovery process of our customers, we are also able to accompany them and to advise them. This moment is important for the final users by giving them the opportunity to quickly optimize theirs processes. It is also important for CreaCell, because the satisfaction of our clients is our goal and it has no boundaries."
CreaCell supports the 6th French Symposium of the Pain Research Network on January 22-23 in Marseille. The pain network aims to coordinate the activities of French researchers in the area of pain, to confront the latest advances in clinical research and basic research and to promote exchanges and collaborations between the different teams involved.
CreaCell has been approved by the French authorities for the Research Tax Credit. This Approval ("Agrément CIR") is valid for 2009, 2010 and 2011. The CIR is based on the claimed volume of R&D expenditures (which include subcontracted R&D). It is equal to 30 % of R&D expenditures up to EUR 100 million; beyond this threshold, the rate comes down to 5 %. For French companies entering the scheme for the first time, the applicable rate is 50 % the first year, and 40 % the second year.
CreaCell is a partner of the 20th Conference of the Association "Ion Channels". Since its creation in 1990, the main objective of the meeting has been to favour scientific interaction between researchers interested in ion channels. This has been achieved through symposia and communications of high scientific level. The Conference will take place in september 2009, on the French Riviera. >Program
